Zellif Wallace Jackson, a local investment firm located in Midtown, task dma with developing and refining the work flow area for their new financial corporate office. The conceptual message to be relayed to ZWJ's investors was for their space to appeal to all different types of clients from around the world. In addition, their previous office was designed with inefficient common work areas and tight corridors creating a claustrophobic effect. The inefficiency of their current space created numerous communication problems within the company in which dma was tasked with solving. ZWJ also needed to relocate many furnishings and specialized equipment from their existing space to their new space. The finishes and materials chosen for their new office must coordinate with their existing furnishings.

dma worked closely with the ZWJ executive team to determine priorities for recreating their new space. Areas of concern which were ultimately addressed include creating larger, more open circulation spaces, centrally located common areas for all employees to utilize, and the reconfiguration of departmental adjacencies to create more efficient work flow between groups. The finishes chosen for ZWJ's new office were neutral with splashes of color accented through artwork and fabrics. The neutral color scheme was an effective choice that had appeal to numerous personalities and coordinated well with their existing furnishings. Other project highlights include the coordination of specialized audio / visual equipment, design of custom millwork, and close project management of the entire process.
